Royal Caribbean International welcomed 230 Big Brothers Big Sisters supporters aboard its Harmony of the Seas® ship for an extravagant fundraising event featuring cocktails, 3-course gourmet luncheon with wine and champagne, silent auction and tours of the world’s largest cruise ship. The afternoon event raised more than $27,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward, which provides children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships.
“We’re beyond grateful to Royal Caribbean for underwriting a lovely afternoon aboard the Harmony of the Seas®,” said Ana M. Cedeno, president and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward. “We’re particularly thankful for board member Kara Wallace, Royal Caribbean’s VP of North America Marketing, who arranged this over-the-top event and all wonderful RCL staff who took care of us all afternoon. Thanks to them, all of our guests had such a good time.”
